Equine assisted learning is an emerging field in which the horse acts as a non-judgmental partner and reflects what transpires during the process where the participating leader and horse work together. The human story is a complex one and it can be surfaced in many ways. The horse encounter uniquely holds the mirror for the leader to grasp her or his impact on others. Through the equine experience hone emotional intelligence, sharpen communication through alertness to non-verbal cues, build trust and the value of boundaries, working through hierarchies and creating strong herds.
